Our winter Master Naturalist course will provide you a thorough foundation in our local landscapes, habitats, geology, plants, wildlife, and more.
If you are interested in learning more about Mississippi's Gulf Coast ecosystems, this is the class for you! We'll get out in the field, take a boat tour, collect plant specimens, and seek out some of the amazing habitats found in our local community. You'll walk away from this course ready to volunteer at one of many sites along the coast or to simply have a deeper understanding of your outdoor experiences.
The winter 2018 course will run on Wednesday from January 17th through March 31st. Each day tackles a different topic from the classroom and lab to the field, so dress to get dirty!
The master naturalist course costs $225 for members and $250 for non-members
